Candidates must have:
High School diploma
Degree in Early Childhood Education or Education preferred for FT teaching positions but not required.
Experience and/or CDA / Early Childhood degree preferred for PT positions but not required.
Job Duties and responsibilities include:
Providing classroom leadership as they strive to manage/assist a program exceeding organizational standards, NAEYC guidelines and corporate expectations
Responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a class of children
Providing an attractive, well kept classroom that encourages creativity, exploration and decision-making by the children
Accepting responsibility for maintenance and required housekeeping duties of the classroom, common area and playgrounds
Maintaining the Kiddie Academy professional attitude and work behavior
Assisting in other capacities as directed by the Director and attending all required staff meetings and training
Strictly adhering to Corporate guidelines, policies and local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to health, safety and care of the children
