8K a year $2000 Sign on bonus!! ($1000 at 3 months and 6 months) This position is located at 801 Pittsburgh Drive, Delaware, OH 43015 PRIMARY JOB OBJECTIVE:
The Auditor will perform inspections, lab testing and/or final inspections; routine in-process audits using various gauging that includes mechanical, electrical, and optical equipment and document information in paper and electronic formats as assigned by the Q.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS The Quality Auditor utilizes precision measuring gauges/devices and test equipment to ensure compliance of product with defined specifications.
Equipment includes hand-held gauges (micrometers, calipers, etc.
), Optical Comparator, Harness testers, and others as required.
The Auditor carries out and documents inspections and maintains records for receiving, in-process, final inspection, receiving & dock area inspections.
Identifies defective material and/or product.
Performs basic mathematical calculations and standard/metric conversions with or without electronic assistance (calculators, websites, etc.
).
Makes decisions as to acceptability of appearance and performance of product based on customer specifications and internal requirements.
Reads and interprets information from the customer and internal specifications, as well as part drawings.
Completes Non-Conforming Material reports and tags product per procedures.
Gathers samples for and performs some metallurgical testing as required to complete product inspection; may include samples for tensile testing, optical emission spectroscopy, hardness testers, conductivity meter, annealing, or small batch furnace operation.
Maintains clean personal work habits and be very aware of keeping a clean and organized work environment.
It is very important to maintain the lab in a clean and orderly condition at all times.
Performs specialized quality tests to determine conformance to specific specifications.
Will be required to conduct or participate in any of the following:
Machine or part capability studies Calibration of gauges ISO9001/IATF16949 Audits and Quality System Procedure Development Product and process auditing Documentation preparation for product submittals to customers Customer complaint investigation Quality Report preparation Interacting with legacy computer-based data collection system Audits of the Quality System to determine conformance to established procedures and specifications Conducting or participation in capability studies Conducting or participating in GR&R studies Gauge calibration activities and records maintenance QUALIFICATIONS Must have a High School diploma or G.

D.
equivalent.
Knowledge of GD&T is a plus.
Prior Quality Assurance or metallurgical Lab experience preferred.
Gage calibration experience is a plus.
Must be able to pass additional training courses as assigned.
Must have basic computer skills and be proficient with MS Office software.
Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, and lift 50 lbs.
Must have 20/20 vision (corrected) and not be color-blind.
Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications is desired.
