Amazing opportunity within a multi-specialty dental practice for a Front Office Coordinator to join our team! The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of the front office to ensure smooth operation of the practice.
This role requires a blend of reception and administrative skills, financial and insurance coordination, leadership qualities, and a customer-centric approach.
This person must have an impeccable attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, a pleasant demeanor, excellent organizational skills, and a willingness to be part of a thriving team environment.
Above all, the Front Office Coordinator is to help create a warm and welcoming environment for our patients, being courteous and as helpful as possible to every patient, caregiver, and team member in our office.
Duties:
Responsible for daily operations of the front desk of the dental practice.
Provide high level of customer service while interacting with patients, referring offices, and team members over the phone, in person, or via electronic communication.
Manage scheduling and patient flow.
Greet patients upon arrival.
Provide assistance in answering phones.
Maintain accurate patient records and document all communication.
Check patients out upon completion of appointments and schedule follow-up appointments accordingly.
Submit and track insurance claims.
Prepare and present treatment plans with financial estimates as needed.
Responsible for patient billing and collections.
Communicate with other professional offices and referral sources.
Communicate regularly with practice owner and team members.
Execute and reinforce administrative and patient experience Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices within the practice.
Maintains confidentiality of all information in accordance with HIPAA.
Customer service oriented and able to always communicate with a pleasant demeanor.
Effective written and verbal communication with all staff and management.
Must possess excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, be able to multitask and perform job duties in a timely manner.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office or similar setting is preferred.
- Proven experience in office administrative roles - Strong computer literacy - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively - Knowledge of Eaglesoft dental software would be advantageous This position offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic front office team while contributing to the smooth operation of our dental practice.
