Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures - Take and develop dental x-rays - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform patient assessments and record vital signs - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Epic electronic medical records system - Assist with medical coding and billing processes - Provide support in pediatric dental procedures - Utilize CAD/CAM technology for dental restorations
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required - Completion of a dental assistant training program or equivalent experience preferred - X-ray certification required - Experience working in a dental office or clinic preferred - Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records system is a plus - Knowledge of medical coding and billing processes is beneficial - Experience working with pediatric patients is desirable This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team.
