Summary:
The Supervisor will oversee the and production and provide maintenance of all Cups & Buckets.
They will direct and coordinate the day-to-day activities providing leadership and supervision to their team to ensure output, efficiencies and quality targets are all being met.
Troubleshoot and repair machines as needed and schedule / assist with preventive maintenance & tooling changes as required.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Ensure production targets on output, efficiency, scrap, and machine up-time are achieved.
Regularly inspect machine operation to ensure output (speeds) and quality targets are being met.
Responsible for equipment condition - perform preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs as scheduled and/or needed.
Complete tooling changes with assistance from operators and maintenance department.
Document downtime for repairs, tooling changes & preventative maintenance work.
Keep work area clean, organized and free of debris.
Manage spare parts inventory and place purchase requisitions when needed.
Direct and support activities on safety - promote Safety First culture within the operation and facility.
Demonstrate leadership behaviors that build an environment of trust and personal integrity.
Performs other duties as required and assigned Skills/
Qualifications:
Previous experience in maintenance on High Speed Cup and Bucket forming machines.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills Comfortable using computers and software programs.
Strong strategic, analytical problem-solving ability (Root Cause Analysis) Strong safety orientation as per job requirements Mechanically inclined - prior experience working in a maintenance role would be a plus.
Experience and familiarity working in a manufacturing environment.
Lifting to 45lbs.
Awkward and/or repetitive movements.
Sitting or standing for extended periods of time depending on the job / task.
Use of various hand & power tools and equipment.
Reading digital screens including computers and other electronic devices.
Work in areas of fluctuating temperatures Job Type:
