In order to better engage our growing patient base, we are seeking a pre-tester/administrative support to join our team.
Position:
Pre-tester/Administrative Support.
Full-time position available.
$15/hr.
Full-time schedule:
9:
00 AM - 5:
00 PM with lunch.
One to two Saturdays a month, 9-1:
00 PM.
Responsibilities include:
Use and explain the vision screening tools Help make the pre-testing experience positive and comfortable for our patients Transmit screening date for the doctor to review (both electronically and manually) Sanitize equipment between patients Prepare patient files When available, answer phones, return calls, and schedule patient appointments Helpful skills:
A willingness to jump right in and learn! No previous eye care experience is necessary -we are eager to show you the ropes! Ability to work quickly and efficiently Attention to detail and accuracy when testing and transmitting data Confidence in directing patients and explaining procedures Instinct for engaging with people and making them feel welcome and at ease Warm, personable phone skills Confidentiality and adherence to HIPPA standards Job Type:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
